Udinese vs Milan 2:3

Again we went to a Udinese game. This time they played against AC Milan. Blaž picked me up around 5 pm and drove towards Nova Gorica. In Vrtojba we went for a drink at Oriks (5 €). while waiting rest of the crew. We switched to Robert’s car and first, we went to eat in Gradisca d’Isonzo. After pizza quick stop for a glass of white wine. We arrived soon to Udine. At parking, we parted with Blaž and Andrej as they had VIP tickets this time.

At the game, we met Danijel. Around us were mostly Milan supporters. A slow start where Milan had the majority of possession. That was crowned by the first goal after half an hour, Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Soon the game was stopped because the Teddy boys made some racist remarks. After the game continued Lazar Samardžić equalized.

In the second half, Udinese started better and were in the lead after Florian Thauvin scored. Now Milan put some extra effort into their approach. That paid off as they equalized in the 83rd minute by Luka Jovič. In extra time they scored again to win at this late stage, Noah Okafor.

It was time to leave for home in cold weather. First with Robert to Vrtojba and to home with Blaž, where I arrived after midnight. Interesting weekend with good food, a nervous game, and good company.
