Olimpija vs Maribor

Rok called me if I would join him on derby Olimpija vs Maribor. I had time, ticket were available (20 €). So we met hour before game with some of his friends in front of stadium. There was crowd on entrance (attendance 5.400) but they even didn’t check us. Viole-Maribor fans made some problems even before game started. Minutes of silence for late Rade Vujnović and game was on.

Olimpija played better then Maribor first 45 minutes. Out of many chances Olimpija took lead with goal by Rui Pedro header after half an hour of play. In second half Olmipija was better until their secon goal by Ratnik in 65. miniut. After this goal they pulled back and left initiavie to Maribor that scored 5 minuts later with Laušič header. Maribor had more chances but result didn’t change any more. So first derby of season was won by Olmpija.
