Italy for end of 2024

With ex-coworkers, we had a boy’s weekend to close in 2024. On Friday I left early from office, but then waited in the cold for Blaž and Andrej. On our way 2 stops at the post office. In Nova Gorica, we parked the car and moved to Robert’s car. We returned for his passport.

First, we stopped at Redipuglia. This is a WWI memorial where more than 100.000 soldiers are buried. The museum on the opposite side was closed for renovation. We moved to Ronchi dei Legionari for a shop (29 €) and a beer (14€).

Now we moved to Gradisca d’Isonzo. There we rented one floor in a house for a day (130 €). From there we walked to Mulin Vecio for dinner (130€). There we talked to some students. A walk home took a bit longer.

The next morning after the bathroom we packed and left for Padova. We had a challenge parking there. We found a place for coffee and breakfast (12 €). Now we walked around the old town, and we had some problems navigating.

Later we went for pizza and beer for lunch (20€). We had some sweets (mandorlato) before we moved to the car.

We drove to Udinese stadium for a game against Napoli. We draw who will get VIP tickets (beer), I lost with Blaž. The home team started well with a goal after a defended penalty. At half-time, I paid for beer and tea, but I didn’t get the tea? After the break, Napoli played much better and they won 1:3.

After game it was time to move home, first with Robert to Nova Gorica and than with Blaž to Ljubljana.
