Tasty Corner in Ljubljana
Already on the third day before physiotherapy, I am experimenting with a snack. This time I stopped at the Tasty Corner Asian fast food place at the train station (10 a.m.-7 p.m.; tel. 069 644 422). The small bar is squeezed between the toilet area, tracks and rentacar, Outside and inside 2 tables for 2. Two cooks and one is for the cashier. This is another offspring of Roz Slon, similar to Thai Zone, where ex-employees open a similar restaurant.
The menu mainly offers Thai dishes (pad thai, red and yellow curry), but there is also some other asian cusine (Indian curry, udon noodles, pansit bihan, …) and snacks (wings, spring rolls, gyoza).
I ordered red curry with chicken and waited almost 15 minutes. I thought it was ready and they will have to just pour it and put rice on top of it, but apparently they prepared it on the fly. The taste was not bad, it was spicy enough, maybe there could be a little more variety of vegetables. I ate quickly and moved on. I paid €6.5 for this meal.
