St Lucia-Castries

Woke up early, but stayed longer in bed, washed clothes, packed for day. At gas station bought coke and cookies, 10XCD. Took bus to town, 2XCD.

In town searched for bus to Soufrier, waited to fill, 9XCD. I bought water 2XCD. Driver was pseeding, almost caused accident, at least scenary on our way nice. On arrival searched taxi to volcanic sulfur mud pool. I got overcharged, 100XCD for 2 times 15 minuts drive and waiting for less then an hour.

To enter the pools I paid 10XCD. There I changed into bathing suit, soacked in one of pools with hot water, put some mud on myself, after another pool I showered while it rained outside. I genuingly had really soft skin for few days. I returned back to town. At station it was crowded and I had to wait for second bus. At least I got front seat, 9XCD.

In town I ordered spicy chicken wings and fries 20XCD. I drank a beer next door where owner explained to me how she was raising her son. I took another bus to room for 2XCD. I had a beer with neghbour from uk, we walked to the beach close by, there were some dogs. On return to room, I took a shower, packed and relaxed by the TV.
