Central Asia day #12 Almaty

I woke up at six, after a bathroom-water problem, and packed, and carried bags. We walk from the station to the AQ capsule hostel-new, early check-in, 20 €, laundry, repacking, plans.

We went out and changed money at the bank. We walked around center-cathedral, and park, not impressed.

We got hungry and ate udon noodles, 2.000 KZT-4 €.

We decided to skip visiting the cable car. We changed it to nature, 2x bus by 200 KZT-0.5 € to the national park. From there we hitchhiked. But still, we didn’t arrive at the lake, it was too late. We turned back when we were over 2.000 m.

Back in the city it was time for dinner, 4.500 KZT-9 € for chechvara soup, horse sausage, bread, and beer.

On the way home bought water 330 KZT-0.6 € and went for a shave, 2.000 KZS-4 €. Back in the hostel, to TV room and tea, bathroom.
