Central Asia day #13 Almaty to Bishkek

Woke up early, not enough sleep. After showering and packing back into the city and walked to the metro, 100 KZS-0.2 €.

From the Saitan metro to the bus station was quite a walk. After buying tickets we went to Istanbul restaurant, 4000 KZS-8 € kebab. A quick stop at a gas station, 2000 KZS-4 € cigarettes and cookies. Now it was time for the bus to Bishkek 2500 KZS-5 €.

Soon after start I moved to empty seats, 4 to stretch on. Music and flat background made this trip OK. We had one stop on our way, then border, and again back on the bus.

Soon we were again in Bishkek. Walk in the center, pass the mosque, on Chuy Street (parks, statues, …). we searched for a Meeting Place hostel, 9 € per night per person. After settling it was time to go out and meet Miha.

Probably after a decade, we sat together. Nice talk, tried lokal beer at PIVO, 250 KGS-2.5 €. Then moved to an English pub. After a few hours and lots of info about local life, it was time to call it a night. Glad to see he got adjusted well here

A short stop in the shop and to bed.
