Taipei-Seoul

The next morning I got up late. took metro 35 TWD to Taipei 101. I paid a ticket for tower 600 TWD. I got there through a mall. From the top, you have a nice view of the city. Interesting was seeing a yellow stabilizer (Tuned Mass Damper, 660 tons) that keeps a 508-meter tall building from moving.

I went shopping for 480 TWD. I bought some club sandwiches, onigiri (Japanese rice sandwich), a banana, water and toiletries.

I paid 25 TWD for the metro and 160 TWD for the train to the airport. Check-in took some time. I had now two hours for the gate side. I find one area to relax. I had some coins to spend on cigarettes (125 TWD) and drinks (35 TWD).

Scoot flight on Boeing 787 was similar to one before, you needed to pay extra for everything. We had some turbulence on our way. We landed 45 minutes before the schedule? Airport Incheon is far from the city, again some papers to be filled out.

In the end, it took me 4 hours from landing to arrive at the hostel by train/metro. The hostel had reception open until 11 PM. Some guy on the metro called them, so someone would wait for me. On arrival, I got the key to my small private room, with an uncomfortable bed. After showering and washing clothes I went to bed.
