Zabranjeno pušenje & Bajaga i Instruktori – Kurzschluss – 21.12.2017
On my 40th birthday, Katka and Marija surprised me with a concert ticket from Zabranjeno pušenje and Bajaga. Otherwise, after work I had to join my colleagues and come to the concert already a little excited. The concert was organized within the Kurzschluss (where DJ Umek and Felix De Laet will perform in December). The concert took place at the Gospodarsko razstavišče in the Kocka hall between 9 pm and midnight.
Firs were Zabranjeno pušenje, which is a band with a lot of history and emotion for me. Otherwise, Sejo is still the driving force and the author of texts that do not leave you indifferent, the lack of Nele’s voice is unfortunate for me. But it obviously couldn’t continue. Of course, there were songs from my youth such as Zenica blues, but they also presented a new melancholic song Nova godina, appropriate for the time of the concert.
When Bajaga and Instruktori steped on stage, the audience was already well warmed up. Concert continued in the same rhythm. They also present some new material from the album U sali lom, but without Tamara and the rest of the evergreen songs, of course, it didn’twork. bajaga singed correctly and the band followed him.
Definitely a beautiful evening, a birthday present, nostalgia for the music from Yugoslavia from the two republics, which they play in the third. What was not OK I driffted away and forgot about company and the next day I was sleepy.
