The cup final Koper:Bravo 3:1 in Celje

NK Bravo reached the peak in the club history by reaching the finals of the cup competition. We agreed with our colleagues to see the match and support this young club. Andrej drives. On the way we stop and have a snack at the Šoferska mamica inn, where we picked up Borut. When we arrived in Celje, we were too smart and we circeled around. At the end we parked in the garage under Mercator. Next was stop for a beer before the match, where Boris joined.

We went inside for the match, with Boris among the fans, and the rest to the VIP. We were sitting behind the fans of Kramarič, who even has his own fan group. Behind us are young Bravo fans. In fact, they cheered throughout the whole match which I initially doubted.

The first half NK Koper prevailed on the field due to technical knowledge and physical strength. However, they did not prepare any good opportunity. Bravo, on the other hand, threatens the opponent’s goal twice, seriously. However, it is still without goals at half time. During the break, I have to fight for a beer.

In the second half, the result changed only in the 70th minute, when for Koper the first Lamin Colley and three minutes later Andrej Kotnik scored for the lead 2: 0 (here we were waiting for VAR confirmation). Bravo needed 10 minutes to reduce the result to 2: 1 with a nice header scored by Bajda. Unfortunately, in the next minute Colley sealed NK Koper as the cup champion (the goalkeeper made a fatal mistake here). Despite the defeat, Bravo fans were waiting to say goodbye to their team.

We got together outside again. We ate a hamburger with Boris (quite a large portion, € 4). Another beer follows and we were on the way home, where I end up in bed at 2:30.
