Slovenia vs Kazakhstan 3:0 – Šeško

Second game Slovenia played in Nations league in 2024 was against Kazakhstan. They won over them a year before with 2:1 and qualified for EURO 2024. I had ticket for this game as group ticket for 6 home games at Stožice.

I started bit late from home and missed few minutes of the game even it was less crowded then 3 days before at game with Austria (less then 10.000 attendants). I watched game from top of stands.

Slovenia played much better then guests and that was repaid with hat-trick by Benjamin Šeško. He scored first one with lob over goalkeeper after dribbling past 3 defenders in 23rd minute, in 28th he scored deflected ball and set final score with header after corner kick in 63rd minute. This put Slovenia in front of their group.
