Slovenia vs Denmark 1:1, Stuttgart, EURO 2024

With Nomago crew we planned to see this game at EURO 2024. But we didnt had luck with ticket lottery. Week before the game I bought 1st category ticket in second round for 200 €. For others it was to late. Now I needed to coup with transport. I bought organized  transfer by Kompas, 109+12 €.

On the day of the game I drove to Dolgi most and we started our journey with bus at 2 AM. On our way we stopped twice, in Austria it was raining. We parked bus close to stadium. Around 11 AM we moved with train to city center. Public transport was free if you had ticket for game.

I walked around city full of drunk fans from both sides. I ate kebab and drunk beer for 18 €. All prices were up 50% percent for tournament. I moved to east side of  city with metro and walked around.

I found Cannstartter Kurve bar with owner from Mostar, Bosnia. Beer was 4.5 and dunja schnopps 3 €, cigarettes 9 €. Many groups of fans stopped by and in the end I joned group from Fužine. We walked together to stadium. Finding right entrance took some time. For beers and burger I waited 15 minutes and paid 37 €.

On game we had great atmospher (54.000 people), slovenian side in white and green/blue and danish in red. Even there was twice number of red T-shirts white ones were louder.

In first half initiative was on danish side like other side was a bitafraid on their first big tournament after 24 years. Their effort was reworded in 17th minute when Eriksen scored after quick ball from out and assist with heal from Wind. In second half slovenian side was increasing pressure. Danish side had one great chance but Oblak defended well. SLovenian had many chances, big one by Šeško where he hit the woodowork. they didn’t stop until they eqalized before the game ended. In 77th minute Janža scored from outside the box where ball was deflected and suprised Schmeichel.

Now we returned to parkin lot and waited a while before all passangers returned to bus, it started to rain. We moved back to Ljubljana with faster pace, just one stop. In Ljubljana I drove home and dropped off one of the passangers. After shower and breakfast it was time to go to work.
