Sailing september 2022

This time I tried different settings for sailing. I went with two families and a skipper (9 people). Wednesday until Saturday, costs 250 € per person (boat, transit logg, skipper) + expenses. Gregor with family picked me up a bit before 7h. We bought some bread. After repacking food between cars we went towards Sukošan. We stopped at the gas station before the border. After 4 and a half hours we arrived at marine. We went for a drink, and the second car wandered into the city center.

I got a cabin with Gregor, but he was sleeping outside so I enjoyed my comfort. After we moved stuff to 45 feet Bavaria sailing boat Oključ it was time to go out. We moved to Žut island. Kids were running around the boat. For some peace, I went to a bar there (beer 30 HRK, pelinkovac 25 HRK, cigarettes 40 HRK). It was time for swimming, taking a walk, and enjoying a beer … Later we had pasta for dinner and chatted with some drinks. Rain and wind overnight.

The next morning was terrible weather so we stayed in Žut ACI Marina. After breakfast a few people went swimming, we tried to play tarok cards but it was too windy. Matej dived missing cards. For lunch, we had lentil stew. Some wandering around the island and evening chat until 2 AM.

The next day we didn’t get up early. After breakfast, we went out off Marine (2 nights in ACI marina 1680 HRK). First, we stopped at Žižanj island for some swimming. Some more sailing to Galešnjak island (shape of the heart), swimming, SUP, and lunch preparation – risotto (Gregor’s knife). With motor, we returned to Sukošan marina. Went for a drink in bar, kids played with geo quiz. In the evening we had loud neighbours, Tea intervened.

Last morning it was cold. We met with Katarina and her family at Sukošan. From there we continuef owards home. It was raining most of the time and wind was strong. In Slovenia we stopped at Vovko Inn, restaurant mentioned by Michelin guide. They left me at home a bit after 7 P.M.
