S.A.R.S. 13.7.2019 – Vodnjan

I was in Barbariga again where I had to clean up again. By chance I found out that next day in Vodnjan was a concert from S.A.R.S. aka Freshly amputated arm of Satriani, at the part of the Vodnjan Summer Festival. When I finished what I had planned, I drove to Vodnjan. I’ve been looking for parking there for a while. I headed to the main National Square. There, a stage was set up next to the town hall. Of course, a few people have already gathered. Now there is a logistical problem, to the ATM and then to the beer. You have to wait everywhere. For the next round, I decided to go to the store, which was open all night at the time. I met some acquaintances from Ljubljana. We listened to the concert a little more for the background. I enter the Al Fondaco bar, ordered a drink, got involved in a conversation with Petra, her mother and some other locals. I end the evening quite tired and decided to sleep in the car before continuing my journey.

In the early morning hours I continued to Lovrečica. There I bought coffee for my friends and stopped in Zambratija. A former co-worker got tomatoes and mayonnaise as a gift. Here we were joined by another former co-worker with her family who arrived with the motorhomes. Hours passed quickly and again I was too tired to drive on. I slept on the turbomaximus and at 5 o’clock I headed home, and I was at work before 8 o’clock. It started with a concert and turned into two interesting days / evenings. SARS has been heard live many times and I like them. I hope next time they will be more in the forefront.
