Pigal in Ajdovščina

On Monday morning I set off on business trip to Italy to Pordenone. We ended the meeting early enough and I set off for Ljubljana. Around 14 I was already quite hungry and I turned at the exit for Ajdovščina. I found parking in the city and found a place to eat nearby. I stopped at the Pigal Pub and Pizzeria, part of the Gold Club Hotel.

They have pizzas, Leskovac barbecue and burgers on the menu. I was served by a young and confused waitress who didn’t even know about kajmak. However, I decided on a portion of čevapčiči and half a liter of cedevita bnext- to it. The bun needs to be ordered additionally.

I was served food at the appropriate time. The presentation was nice, but the chicory next to the Balkan grill is a mistake. The meat was delicious, the bun is too hard, the ajvar is industrial but OK. Kajmak, however, was the biggest disappointment, more like cream than anything else. It all costed me € 13. It was my own fault, why did I order čevapčiče, I should order pizza in Primorska.
