Madrid over Venice to Ljubljana

We landed at 4 am at Barajas airport. We had to spend a few early hours in Madrid before the flight to Venice.

I have now Diners credit card and with it 4 times per year free lounge access. After a cigarette outside I entered the lounge. After registering I enjoyed it to the fullest (sandwiches – made ones and arranged myself, pudding, fruit, drank – water, fresh juice, coffee, beer, champagne, took a shower) before joining Boško at the gates.

Nothing special on the flight changed to a seat with good leg space. Some more waiting in Venice before Go Opti shuttle ride home. We walked 20 minutes from the airport and I took one last beer before ending this trip. We were picked up around 1 pm by an older driver, one lady chatting through the whole trip. On our way, we stopped in Trieste for an additional passenger. In the afternoon sister picked me up at the station. After I unpacked I just relaxed before next morning going to work.
