Madagascar – Firaontsoa

Early start to national park 240k ARI for ticket and guide 3 people. After crossing the bridge we went into the rain forest with a guide and a spotter. We saw 3 types of lemurs, few of them were really close. One species was getting extinct in this park while they couldn’t digest bamboo there. Also, we sew a few frogs, insects and chameleons. Andreja got wet, bit, hit. At the end of the tour, there was a nice viewpoint. Walking was a bit up and down the hill, a bit slippery. So we went all muddy to the hotel for a shower before leaving. We stopped in Firaontsoa in great Tsara Guest House french restaurant with classical music, beautiful setting and view. I had medium zebu steak, for 3 people we paid 125 000 ARI. Afterward, we went for a drink in a local bar in the street with Jerry. We missed the train here by one day. I regret most missing this adventure on this trip. Next was bungalow at Aux Bougainvillees in Ambalavao (3h) 80k. Night in town with rum and talk to some locals, 50 000 ARI.
