Khardung La pass
We woke up at 3:15. Packed and moved to taxi, a bit of confusion who will drive us to the airport. We flew with Fisherking.
The beautiful scenery of mountains on a flight to Leh in Ladhak (Himalayan part of India). A bit more than an hour it lasted, Boško is sleeping.
We landed at 7:10. From the airport, we moved by taxi. We were a bit confused while searching for a place to sleep.
Finally, we found a place on the outskirts, a cozy and nice view of Stock Kangri (350 INR per night). We had there soup and tea.
We shared a jeep to Khardung La pass (5350 meters? 4000 + 900 INR). Boško went down with the bike.
We started at 11h, at the top at 13h with some snow. Great views on our way.
Vehicles are honking before each road bend, driving on the left side of the road.
Change of more than 5000 meters in altitude in 7 hours was not smart. I had a big headache. On return, I went to the room, drunk liquid and had an hour of sleep. Boško went for a run? For dinner, we had some rice with peppers, 180 INR. We were in bed at 22h. Nights were cold (12 C), but during the day it was hot (30 C).
