Crete 2002

The graduation trip was made in 2002. I didn’t know until the last minute if I would go, because I had some exams to pass until then.

After exams, I bought a trip with accommodation (both ways ferry). Didn’t have money for the flight.

We started early in the morning towards Trieste. On border we bought drinks in duty free shop. In Trieste (elevator) we boarded the ferry towards Patras. On the ferry, we slept outside on deck, because it was cheaper. Somebody stole drinks from my bag. On friend injured his head

From Patras, we moved overland, slept somewhere in the middle, and saw the Corinth Channel.

The next day we arrived in Athens, there we visited the Olympic stadium, Acropola, and rested in the park. Saw another group on their return

From Piraeus, we took another ferry to Heraklion, Crete. From there another bus to the south part of the island. I was in a room with guys from Štajerska, while my friends from college reserved prior.

Now it was 10 days of party before returning home. Dancing on the bar, Costa bar cocktails, trans, pool party, Greek dinner, Serbian bouncer, German girl, sleeping on the beach, phone Drnovšek

There was a lot of aggression from the Greeks, who cheated us on a rental car.

Return back home was a real pain, 2 days with no money or energy
