After the bathroom, I packed my stuff and we went out for breakfast. At Water Street Coffee Joint (Downtown) I had a burrito and coffee (15$). It was already time to say goodbye at the train station from Eduardo. I hope next time will see each other before another 18 years passes. At the station, I had more than enough time, while the train was delayed for more than an hour. So I had time for more than one cigarette and to see some police action across the street.

So it was 2 hours on Amtrak train (22$) and I was in Chicago at 11:30. From Union Station, I went to Lake Michigan. As I always try McDonald’s food it was obligatory to do it inland where it originates and it was the last opportunity. So I ordered Cheese and Big Mac (7$), not the best ones I tried, I turned back to Sears/Willis tower where I met with Ron and his lovely daughter Laura.

We went up for sights (25$?), glass ledge on the 103rd floor at 1,353 feet was a bit different experience from NYC views. On exit, we picked up photos (31$) they made of us. On our way there we stopped and ate Italian beef sandwiches, fries and coca-cola (15$?) at Luke’s Italian Beef. From there we walked to the Bean sculpture. There we departed, while Laura was tired already. I moved a bit around and went for local IPA (20$) at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.

From there I went by red/blue train (3$ for a ticket from a homeless guy, gave it back to another homeless at the airport) to O’Hare. Airport was big but bit confusing, it was not labeled OK. I had to move to the INT terminal by bus. There I had one Guinness (10$).

It was time for another long-haul flight at 9 PM back to Europe, Istanbul. On the flight, it was classical routine, ate some average food, watched some movies, drunk a few gin tonics and even had some short sleep.
