Central Asia day #6 Kokand to Dushanbe

I woke up at 6 am and took a shower. Boštjan was still sleeping, so I went for breakfast (eggs, cheese, bread)-bug. Later we went for a short walk in the park with a palace. From the hotel, we moved by taxi (Matiz) to the station, 20k UZS-1.5 € with tip. There we took another taxi to the border, 100k UZS-7.6 €, and a talkative driver.

We passed over the border to Tajikistan on foot, and nobody checked the visa. There with a bus to Konibodom, 10k UZS-0.8€. At the bank, we changed € to TJS, 1 € 11 TJS.

From the bus station, we took a 328 bus to Kujand, 15 TJS-1.3 €, coffee 5 TJS-0.4 €. Another marshrutka to another station, 4 TJS-0.3 €.

After some haggling, we took a shared taxi to Dushanbe, 150 TJS-13 €, he needed license plates before leaving. Interesting ride, a stop with rats, a mountain pass at 2.400m, a driver was speeding, a friend, a lady, and a solder. On our way, we got the best lamb shashlik (2x) of the trip, bread with tea, 45 TJS-4 €. Also, they shared some bread and cheese with us in the car.

From the station with bus 3a, 2.5 TJS-0.2 € to the City hostel, 8 $ per bunk bed per night, but just two of us in the room. We went to the shop on our way there. We bought beer and water, 21 TJS-2 €. Even though we were tired we went to the city for a walk, no flag on a pole. We were back around 11 pm.
