Bangkok #3

We woke up late, at 10 AM. After the bathroom, we packed and checked out.

We left our bags at reception and went to the river (Wat Phraya Krai) with a taxi (150 THB). After the shop ( 150 THB) we visited a primary school where we watched some kind of celebration.

We saw some fireworks at one temple and sit in the park where we enjoyed a beer. Slowly we came back to the mall (4 beers, 1000 THB), wander around a bit, and had dinner (200 THB). For the Krathong festival, we bought one vessel (200 THB) and released it into the river.

On the way back to the hostel with a taxi, we dozed off a bit. We picked our bags and moved to the station with the same taxi (250 THB). I went shopping for a beer (100 THB). At the station, Kiwis bought a ticket for sleeper just a few hours before and rubbed it in. We had a conversation with a French couple at the cigarette and finally, we entered train from hell (not enough space so no sleep again, las cucarachas, windy and cold, in the morning I passed out for 1-2h). But at least it was cheap, same we paid the last taxi 🙂
