Bangkok 4

It the morning we arrived in Bangkok, after almost 1 day of travel, really beaten. We had a short walk to Khao San road and took a room at New Siam 1 (340 THB) hotel with a shared bathroom. So we walk around, saw another temple, bridge, bought some souvenirs (1000 THB), shop (300 THB). I went to McDonald’s (90 THB) and it was not OK, bread was worse, meat and fries were OK and the sauce was bad. At the hotel, after the shower, we took a taxi (100 THB) to Silom, busy traffic, where we met with Nina at Dagon’s head bar. She is an ex-pat from Slovenia, explained about her experience there. Later Phuket joined us. Nina had to leave while she felt a bit under the weather and also had to get up early in the morning. Phuket took us to a place where we ate in the street. Our last stop was at Saxophone Jazz Pub close to Victory monument, where Phuket’s friend joined us. After some snacks, a few beers (1700 THB), good music, and even dancing. We took a taxi (70 THB) home. Shopping before bed (110 THB).
