Seattle again

Again up at 6am, few emails, back to bed. A few hours later, breakfast was remaining pizza. We went out around 10am. We had a coffee (Hood Famous Bakeshop), 18$.

We walked to the port, took a ferry to Bainbridge Island, return ticket 11.35$, 35 minutes. Windy but great views from the ferry.

On the island, we saw the Japanese memorial; a minibus took us there, for both 5$. After a short walk around, we got a ride back from a volunteer lady there.

We ran to catch the ferry. Somebody spoke with us on our way back. On the other side, we had lunch at Ivar’s, clam chowder and calamari, 40$. A bit of an institution, a bit of a tourist trap.

We went back to the hostel for a bit of rest, watched a game in the square. With a bus full of Bosniacs heading to a gathering at Fisher pavilion (sarma, baklava, coffee, speech).

From there we walked to 1st&Bell for an event by BH Fanaticos, entrance 40$, fan goods 60$, round of beer 25$. After some time, we went up to the terrace. Everybody went there. There were some fan songs, creating signs for the next day, talk to a few people. I also spoke to Aida, a Bosnian girl who visited all countries except two (Congo and Mali).
