Game BiH vs Qatar
Woke up, went for breakfast, and got ready for the game. From Pier 62 corteo to the stadium. It was a special feeling being part of an enormous crowd, singing along. At Lumen Field stadium, Edin couldn’t enter with a bag.
He went to the hostel to leave it there as it was close and we had a lot of time before the game. In front of the stadium, I got free water in the sun and watched a Christian preacher. Finally we got inside. We ordered a hot dog (13$) and beer (19$) and moved to our seats in the sun.
Great opening by Bosna but no goal. They scored twice in the first half and hit the woodwork. But from there on Qatar took initiative, scored once, and hit the woodwork.
In the break we went away from the sun into shadow. In the second half, Bosnia was better and scored once more. Attendance was 66.925, mostly Bosnian (20-30.000), some Qatari, some Americans. Fans created a great atmosphere, singing songs and cheering for their team. Also, after the game some celebration with the team before leaving the stadium.

After the game, we went to the hostel to rest from all the excitement and sun.. Edin fell asleep. I went out and bought cigarettes in shop, 13$. In the evening we went to an Irish pub (Shawn O’Donnell’s in Smith Tower) with Jasmin for a beer and dinner (wings and burger, 55$).
