Olimpija vs Borac 0:0

Return game in Conference league. Olimpija lost the first game in Banja Luka after an early red card (Florucz) 1:0. This was a good chance to win at home. I bought tickets for me, my brother-in-law and nephew (20 €). Sister drove us to the game, but we returned for documents and tickets.

We arrived 20 minutes before the game but at the AB gates they were slow and we entered 3 minutes after the game started. It was already the first chance for Olimpija after the VAR decision for a penalty. But Blanco made a bad effort and the goalkeeper didn’t have hard work to defend his shot. In the first half, they also hit twice woodwork. Drinks 11.5€.

In the second half, both teams played without ideas. Borac players were stalling greatly, and refery was taking their side. More attention was on fans. Olimpija’s Green Dragons were constantly cheering but Borac’s Lešinari were in bigger numbers, more organized, and louder … Toward the end more and more troubles, Lešinari were using constantly pyrotechnical devices until they provoked home fans to return. Police had to intervene and the game was stopped for 10 minutes.

The game finished with a 0:0 with the home team’s possession 64%. We moved towards the bus station frozen and sad where my sister picked us up and drove home.
