POPSTARS reUNITED at Media Park

This was a concert of POP bends from the early century. These bends are Bepop (winner of the first talent show), Power Dancers, and Game Over in Sebastian. Back in the day, we would mock these bends as we were more on the Rock music side. I guess I am getting old and nostalgic. The ticket was 29 €. The venue moved from Cvetličarna to Media Park because they were sold out.

I went shopping for the Senegal trip (flip-flops) at Leclerc and then drove to Cvetličarna, having trouble finding a parking lot. At the entrance, there was a big crowd. I saw many people I knew, Blaž and Neža, Vidan with his crew, and Martin that was a surprise.

Around 10pm opened by Babič. Later came on stage BEPOP Ladies (girl part). It was followed by Sebastian (his voice was terrible), Power Dancers (saw them perform in student days) and finished with Game Over. The crowd enjoyed in performance singing along. I would say on average they were 10 years younger than me, kids at the time this music was popular. I recognized the melody as it was all around 20-25 years ago, but it was still funny to me. After the concert, DJs kept the place alive. Around 2 am I drove to Metelkova, I needed something to mellow this experience. I came home around 5 am,
