Perfect days – movie

Boštjan suggests the film Perfect Days by Wim Wenders right after work. We haven’t seen each other for a long time and the movie doesn’t have bad reviews, so I agreed. Before the cinema, we went to Mc Donalds for the Big Mac Menu and each got a cup, €5.40. We meet in front of Kino Dvor and head to the uncomfortable seats, €4.80. The hall was full of pensioners, probably because of the early hour?

The film lasted a little over 2 hours, and it was slow-paced, poetic, full of beautiful shots and nostalgic music. Here, Japan as a place of action and the West through culture intersect several times. Is a perfect day a routine or a day filled with the unpredictable? After the movie, we chatted a bit before heading home in the rain.
