Orle & Prešeren

While the weather was fine, we went first to Orle, a small hamlet on the periphery of Ljubljana. I enjoyed rump steak (18 €) on the terrace of Orle inn. This place is a little bit elevated and there is a great view of Ljubljana below and the Alps in the back. They sold some honey in front of the inn, so I bought chestnut honey (11 €).

As we had a cultural holiday named after our best poet and author of our national anthem France Prešeren all of the museums were free that they. We decided to visit the museum complex in Tabor. First, in front of SEM (Slovene Ethnographic Museum) we saw carnival from Drežniške ravne. They have the whole story about it, but they were loud. From there we moved to the National museum Metelkova with exhibitions about objects we use daily (like chairs – Rex by Kralj or some toys, etc). We finished at the Museum of modern art Metelkova (Avramovic Rhythm 0; NSK). For the end we sat outside for drinks (5€).
