Olimpija vs Maribor 2:0

With Tedej we went to watch a game between Olimpija and Maribor. The day before, at the movies I suggested this and bought 2 tickets there (15 € per ticket). I picked him up by cab around 17h (12 €). There was a crowd at the entrance but we passed security on time for the start of the game. We had seats at the A7 sector, 16th row.

Green Dragons prepared some choreography at the start of the game. In the beginning, Maribor played well, but soon Olimpija took primate. Iličić was booed by fans. In the closing moments of the first half, Suhalehe scored for the lead of Olimpija. In the second half, twice the game was stopped because of fans, once even one guy came to the goalkeeper. In 76th minute Bistrić scored for the final result 2:0.

With this game, they also won this year’s championship of the Slovenian first league. 5 games before the end, they have a lead that can be surpassed. And they one their main competition at the home stadium. Best possible outcome anyone could want for Olimpija. After the game ended fans come running onto the pitch, and I joined fans with Tedej. Met some people there, Brane, Vid.

Walked to Ilirska and took a taxi (8 €) back home. Nice evening and heart result for Olimpija and fans. I should go often to Olimpija games.
