Mala terasa – restaurant in Ljubljana

I met Lojzet for lunch at the restaurant Mala terasa, located at Ajdovščina 1. Here they offer a variety of sandwiches (chicken, roast beef, salmon, cheese, and veggie), and dishes with rice have the same options as sandwiches. There is also a weekly offer. You can also take the daily soup and dessert in addition to the main course.

Since I was hungry and the portions are small, I took the whole lunch. For starters, there’s pea soup. The main dish is chicken cut into strips, along with baked potatoes and vegetables and a bit of salad. For dessert I got strudel. Everything is served on a tray and you also get a glass of water.

Since we have a discount at Nomago, I paid less than €9, which is good, but the portions really aren’t huge. The lunch is delicious and it’s nice to sit on the terrace when the weather is nice. I suggest a visit if you are not too hungry and would like to enjoy the view of the platform.

Primož organize events on occasion. This time Darko prepared tapas dinner and live band was playing (Fir & Bergamot). When we arrived most of tables where already full. Music made better atmosphere. First we got grilled salmon with mediteranian sauce and bell pepers filled with cottage cheese. Next was shrimps with cucumber, radish and spinach sauce. We moved to chicken. For dessert it was pudding with cream and blueberries. Pored sam pio Cled mango pivo. I paid for everithing with tip included 77€.
