Madrid-Venice

I woke up on a plane, had breakfast (sandwich far from good). We landed at Madrid airport with a delay at 10:45 am. We moved to the city with the metro (8,6 € daily ticket), last station of line 8 – Nuevos Ministerios. After a bit of search, we met Jerneja and moved to bar Muxers across Corte Inglés. It was possible to smoke inside!

After half hour Ricardo joined us, meeting him after almost 17 years. We had a few beers and got some olives, sausages and chips, 43€. After a nice chat, it was time to return to the airport for the next flight to Venice 16:10 – 18:35.

We waited quite some time to collect bags. At the exit, Andreja was waiting for us.

Outside it was shockingly cold, just above zero. A shuttle picked us up and drove to the parking lot. The ride home was smooth, around Postojna it started snowing, first Vesna dropped off Andreja. I had one smoke there than Vesna delivered me home at 22:15. After greeting family, I had to unpack while some clothes were wet and salty getting the smell. I ate some soup and fried chicken with salad. Fall asleep after midnight.
