Kandy

We climbed uphill to Dambulla, sacred caves filled with Buddha statues. Next stop was Kandy. On way we stopped at Matale Muthumariamman temple (250 LKR), eating in some kind of local fast food (biryani) and spice garden tour (1000 LKR), good guide, temple massage, some new info, Max was picking leaves. Also, we stopped in tradition fabric dying shop.

In Kandy we went for a traditional dance show (entrance 1000 LKR, beer 500 LKR), I would say the worst experience on the trip, touristic in a bad way (in a hotel with dancers without energy). Later we went for a massage (5000 LKR) that saved that day. We went to the hotel in the suburbs with a pool and wasps, dinner on the balcony with rakija.
