Trincomalee

In the morning fever was back. After breakfast (took just a few bananas and tea) we went to the hospital (modern, clean), me (pressure 90/70, 38,5C), Max and Shanaka went to dr. All of us got some pills and continued the trip to Trincomalee. On the road, we eat (1700 LKR for all). From the hotel, we went again to the dr. After a blood test, they said I have a Dengue virus and I should stay in the hospital.

While they didn’t have beds they walked me to another hospital. Others went shopping and bought water and some fruits. So I stayed overnight, measuring how much water I drink (80 ml per hour) and how much water I urinate (in some cup). While I didn’t have a watch or phone one of the locals (metal music for phone ringing) landed me his watch. This meant again almost no sleep. Also, I got some IV and paracetamol.
