Happy Ol’ McWeasel in Orto bar

Ivan suggested this concert after we met at Brkovi concert. He bought tickets, 15 €, Tomaž later bailed out. I drove there, searched for parking. We met in front of Orto bar a bit after 8 pm.

We went for a drink, checked Kloni that was first on stage, nothing to report about. Happy Ol’ McWeasle came to stage half an hour later as Ivan predicted. This is bend from Maribor and they play irish punk. SO it was logical to have concert on St Patrick’s day. I heard few of their song before but didn’t know what are they like on stage.

7 of bend members crowded the stage and around 300 fans were below stage. They provided nice energy, especially lead singer is all around. Music was cut due technical problems, but it passed withut major obstruction. They supplied fans with quite few beers. There is some ‘stage diving’, finished by singer they carried to bar. After 1.5 hours on stage they returned for 3 more songs at encore. Now it was time to return home. In general concert was a positive surprise.
