The Union Pub was today’s choice for a lunch. After a short walk there we were the first guests in the garden, later it got a bit full. Since Jezeršek took over, the menu and concept have changed a bit, the interior has remained quite the same. Some time ago, they even tried to revive the nightlife with Pub Quiz. In the garden, they set up some large barrels for tables and next set bar stools.

The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from burgers, fried program, vegetarian, salads and desserts. There is a daily offer also. Of course, when choosing a beer you will not stay thirsty. Aljoša chooses Stefani roast – a meat loaf with an egg. And I’m on the fryed side today. I ordered Crispy chicken legs (boneless breaded in corn flakes, hemp and sesame seeds, next to BBQ sauce – I would say mayonnaise / katchup and a slice of lemon) – 9 €. For the side dish, I order fried sweet potatoes (potatoes soaked in something before frying ?, mayonnaise with turmeric and garlic) – 4.5 €. Everything was delicious. The only problem was that it was all too much. Maybe I should share the side dish with someone next time.
