Beli labod – restaurant
Beli labod – White swan is a Chinese restaurant on Kolodvorska 20 in Ljubljana, owned by the Wang and Feng families. We went there with our colleagues for lunch, which meant a 10 minutes walk. We sat outside in the winter garden, where the space is well heated by a gas stove. Otherwise, they have their own delivery and option via Wolt / Glovo. The menu includes classic Chinese dishes, which is a varied choice.
Between 10 am and 4 pm, in addition to the main course, you are entitled to an appetizer, salad and dessert for the excellent price of € 7.9 (otherwise the main course is more). I take sour spicy soup for appetizer and Mongolian beef for the main course, next to it are fried bananas for dessert (2 pieces). I was more than full in the end and I am quite happy with the whole experience.
We are served fast enough, the food is delicious enough, the portions are plentiful, I add chili to my main course. So if you are nearby at lunch time and you enjoy Chinese food this is the right choice. There are also disadvantages, Mongolian meat was served on an ordinary plate, staff has problems with Slovene language, the quality could be improved, but probably not for that price.
