Bale is town in Istra, Croatia
They have about 1,000 inhabitants (Croats and Italians) and occupy a little more than 80 km2 between Rovinj and Vodnjan. The main activity is tourism. Prehistoric remains of dinosaurs were found here. The city was first inhabited in the Copper Age, and it got its name in Late Antiquity.
