Moy sushi japanese restaurant Ljubljana (closed)

Closed on 5th January 2026 after almost 15 years

Another place with Japanese food in the old town is Moy sushi. After work, I went there for a light lunch. Outside, it was too hot, so I went inside. As it was empty, I could pick any table with minimalistic equipment.

I ordered spicy miso soup (udon noodles, wakame algae, onion sprouts, rayu chili sauce; 5.4€), beer (kirin ichiban, 4€) and mixed sushi plate (tuna and losos nigiri, tuna and losos maki, replaced uramaki for losos sashimi; 19.9€). Together with the tip I paid 30,8€. The soup was spicy, the beer was cold, and the sushi was fine. In general, a nice experience, but it can’t compare with Sushimama or Maru.
