Copenhagen to Stockholm

Brutaly early waking up at 4am, bathroom, packing. First train (05:14–06:09, R1008) to Lund, to border Denmark-Swdedn it was free, for the rest I paid 7€ (via Omio). In Lund I got fast train to Stockholm, 87€ (06:14–10:34, Bahn.de). Nothing special on train, tried to sleep, outside was mainly forests.

In Stockholm, first to Thon Partner Hotel Kungsbron (3*) close to station in windy weather. Early checkin for room in basement, no windows, bathroom, breakfast included, 68€.

Now it was time for bit of resting by TV (hokey and Milioner quiz) and bit of organizing. I took a walk for 4 hours. In that time I passed townhall, palace, cathedral, …

I stopped for meal at Meatballs for the people, hipster place, had to wait for spot at counter. I ordered 8 beef ones, mashed potatoe, garnish and local lager, 383SEK (35€+).

On my way back gone to view point at sunset, ferry was not operating. Walk in cold and wind back to hotel.

Made a tea, some more resting, call with Simon, 2 hours of sleep. In the evening I was out again. Outside was snow.

First I went to McDonald’s for diner, menu was 124 SKK, 12€. No space for empty trays.

I still had energy, so I tried night life, first at D.pub and later Teodoras. Got some interesting company. John was first and left home early. Ansu frin Zinbabwe, Fridrik with ckay studio and Andrew that missed flight. Different backgrounds but still able to enjoy good conversation, beer was 69 SEK, 6€. I was late in bed, after 3am.
