Hoi An-Danang-Hue-Hanoi
Slow morning, pancakes and coffee for breakfast. I rented a car with a driver to Danang, 400k VND or 13,6€. On our way, we stopped at Marble Mountains. I visited two temples, one was in a cave, 20k VND or 0,7€. Second was uphill, 40k VND or 1,3€. I was sweating a lot. The driver left me at a station in Danang. I ran out of data. I tried twice to top it, but no luck. On my way back sat in a bar with locals. We tried to converse, and gave them some money bills from other countries. They gave me beers, larvae for a snack, and local spirit. On a sleeper train for 160k VND or 5,2€, I rode 2 hours, nice view of Hai Van pass. In Hue, I walked by the river, saw nice parks, colonial buildings, 10k VND or 0,3€ Pepsi. Took coffee at Highlands 55k VND or 1,9€, browsed the internet. I returned to the palace, entrance 200k VND or 6,8€, nice. For dinner, I had beef, jellyfish(not good), beer, 175k VND or 6€. Grab to small nice airport 210k or 7€, some waiting, AirAsia flight. In Hanoi, I searched for a bus station, walked 3km, got on an earlier bus to Sapa, no shoes on the bus.
