Green Day Tivoli 23.3.1996
At end of high school Green day came to Ljubljana. They had concert in Tivoli. Most of friends bought tickets for concert but me and Srđan didn’t wont to pay for bend we were not to great of a fans. We met in front of Tivoli, had few drinks and people with tickets left for a concert. With Srđan we went to one doors. We saw there two guy giving bouncer 1000 SIT and they got in. Also we heard they called him Janez. So we tried our luck aproached him and asked if we could get inside. He said wait a second and then let us for free. Quit a surprise.
Green Day (Billie Joe Armstrong, voice guitar, Mike Dirnt, bass, Tre Cool drums) came to stage and put up quite a show. There was good energy on stage and among fans below stage. They played mostly songs from Dookie and Insomniac albums. With Srđan we got lost in the crowd. Next we talked, he somehow got backstage, mingled with bend even Tre gave him drumsticks. Evening ful of surprises.
