Colombo again

After breakfast, we paid (23000 LKR for rooms, dinners and beers; € was new to them, some pricing problems). We said goodby to Danijela and went with tuk-tuk (900 LKR) to Matala train station.

The ticket to Colombo was 230 LKR in 2nd class. Bought 2 cigarettes by 50 LKR a pcs (JPS – bad taste), lighter 100 LKR, but the coconut was only 50 LKR. The train ride started nice, but in the end it was crowded. In Colombo, we walked in the street market, by the port to KFC (each had two meals, 1350 LKR).

At the bus station, we took a shuttle for 300 LKR. Ride took 1,5h to the airport while we stopped a lot on the way. At control, Luka was asked if he had toothpaste 15x. At duty-free I bought beers and cigarettes. Flight with Chinese eastern was flight basic, seats at the exit for legroom, food was some kind of sweet bun, a lot of kids on the flight.

From the airport we took a bus (1,5 €). Searching for hotel Koamas, no address at booking, in one hotel he looked it up on the internet for us. We arrived late to hotel (130 € 2x double room + ride to airport; 40 € more than on booking). They didn’t have any snorkeling option so we went out and found it in first beach bar, later we hanged out here mostly with our guide.
