Zlata ladjica (Chef Erik Florjanc)-restaurant week 2026 spring
In butique 5* hotel they have Michelin mentioned restaurant managed by chef Erik Florjanc. Young chef uses, slovenian, taditional and ecological ingredients with mediteranian twist. Before Zlata ladjica was nice pub in this 16th century building. It was my first visit to this place after they opened hotel during restaurant week in 2026 spring edition.
Amuse obuche: Homemade Bela Krajina bread with cumin and organic butter with herbs, tomato tartar. Bread was warm, butter cream and tartar with tomato in different form.

Roasted leek mousse, aged goat cheese, crispy kale, parsley mayonnaise, burnt honey, roasted walnuts, polenta, herb oil and fresh herbs.

Tuna tataki, pea cream with Podjed’s sour cream, chervil, parsley root chips, pickled okra, soy reduction (too salty) and leek oil

Adriatic sea bream fillet (grilled ok), fennel puree, Normandy sauce (fresh), sautéed mussels and young chard, confit cherry tomatoes, marinated zucchini and fresh herbs

Apricot chutney, English cream, meringue, mascarpone, elderberry ice cream, candied elderflowers (extra €9.00). Mixture of hot and cold, crunhy and creamy.

In general OK experience (atmosphere, food, service) but noting overwhelming. I drank mineral water (1l) and paid with tip 49 €.
