We woke up at 3:30, we are picked up by a driver who is incompetent, we paid 405k. We went to see a sunrise, 30k, but it was fog and great disappointment.

We went to Borobudur 660k, put on a sarong.

The temple is large and beautiful.

The guide explains stories from the reliefs.

There are so many schoolchildren and we have an interview in English.

We eat breakfast with the addition of egg 55k.

Next was at Prambanan 414k, at the high noon. The temple is partially closed due to the recent eruption of a nearby volcano.

This is followed by taking pictures with the locals, smuggling where it is forbidden and the security guard kick us out.

In the afternoon we come back exhausted.

We sleep in the hotel while it is raining outside. In the evening again around town, buy souvenirs 30k and flip-flops 60k, eat local food and drink 230k on the ground.

We walk to the palace, mud, and darkness.

2x rickshaw for 60k takes us back to the hotel, which for 2 nights we paid 500k. For 2x beer we gave 64k.

We pack, shower, and went to bed.
