The Odyssey – movie 2026

Everybody was expecting The Odyssey by Nolan. When it finally came, it was filmed in IMAX technology. The closest theater that supported it was in Zagreb, Cinestar. Gregor was on his way back from vacation on the Croatian coast (Pakoštane) with his family. So we agreed we would meet in Zagreb. They bought tickets beforehand for them, so I got one ticket (15€) one row behind them. I took the train to Zagreb (9€; planned 14:45-17:23, actual 15:04-17:47). The ride on the train was nothing special. On arrival I went to post office to pay some bill but it looked closed and I done it later in kiosk. From main train station I took Uber to theatter (8€).

In shopping center I met with rest of group after some search. On entry they had compication with tickets and I went in first. They have logistical dicrapancy, after waiting in one line you wait in another. I had seat in middle of 4th row, to close. Seats were comfortable. With many commercial movie started 17 minutes after entry.

This anciant story was told in interesting maner. Beside strong scenary and good acting there was interesting ethical dilema. All on huge screen andemersing sound. Nolan adopted story but main parts were true to original. Also some solutions were great as for Cyclops. I appreciated less few incosistencies and actors of all races. With non-linear story teeling almost 3 hourse went by quickly.

After movie we drove towards, Ljubljana, road and border were OKk, one stop on gas station. We arrived home a bit after midnight.
