Seattle

I woke up at 6:30 am after 4 hours of sleep. After half an hour, I went out for a walk. I started in Chinatown, passed Pioneer Square, Waterfront, Gum Wall, Pike Market up to Space Needle. I needed around 1 hour. I returned over 5th Avenue. Coke in the shop was 5$. In the hostel, I ate a banana for breakfast and rested before getting out again.

After breakfast, we walked to T-Mobile Stadium as it was a game: Mariners vs Red Sox. We couldn’t buy tickets online, so we tried at the venue. With some challenge, we succeeded; 1 ticket for the stands was 49$. There was a huge crowd on our way in; 47,000 capacity sold out. Talked to some people in line. Inside, we watched the game from different positions. The game is a family event; it was also Father’s Day. Beer was 16$ and chicken with garlic fries was 20$. During the game, there were many breaks. In the end, the home team won, but it didn’t count as they had already lost the series.

Now we walked by Waterfront and to Pike Market, similar to my morning walk. I bought souvenirs for 40$ and later lost them. The line at the first Starbucks was insane, so we moved on.

We found another place for coffee, 6.5$ capuccino. Nice views from the top of Seattle skyline.

On our way back, we spoke to a group of Bosniacs that also came for the FIFA game, and one car with Bosnian girls passed us. At the hostel we watched a game replay with another Bosniac

Edin went to bed, and I took out my computer to do some work. When I finished with mails I went out for a Teams call. Before returning to the room, I treated myself to a beer at The Meyer, 11$. Some interesting crowd there, waiters, cooks, homeless … I was in bed after 2am.
