Parni valjak in Stožice 2026
I was in bed checking my mail at 7:30 pm. I found the info again: the Parni Valjak concert is at Stožice as part of their 50th anniversary tour. The concert should start in half an hour. I checked, and there were still a few tickets on the red ring (38€). I saw them perform more than 10 times, one of the big concerts was 25 years ago at Tivoli, not sold out. So, I bought a ticket, ordered a taxi, and hit the bathroom. I waited a bit longer for the Uber (12€) and arrived a little after 8pm at Stožice Arena.
I walked to the upper ring and close to my seat was Adrian with his wife. We had a nice chat before the band came on stage at 8:20. They opened with “Ljubavna” song. They also played a few songs from their last album (Bogati će pobjeći na Mars, a bit darker in general). Igor mentioned Aki a lot. The middle section of the concert was acoustic. Hus spoke a few words (member from the beginning). The last third of the concert had hits like Jesen u meni, Prokleta nedelja, Sve još miriše na nju … Through out concert, most of the band members had solo sections, starting with the drummer. After the encore concert ended. It lasted 2.5 hours. It looks like they are on the right track with Igor as the new singer and can fill big venues and entertain for more than 2 hours. Adrian drove me home, and we waited in the car for some time to get out of the garage. So we had a chance to talk some more.
