Chișinău-Tiraspol-Chișinău

It’s hot on the train even though we wear short-sleeved T-shirts. At the border, they change the train chassis, which takes 3 hours. In the morning we arrived in Chisinau and immediately take a minibus to Tiraspol. It is the capital of Transnistria, which is not recognized by anyone. Here are the Russians who have seceded, they have borders, an army, rubles, which even Russia does not recognize. We walked around a city where we saw the socialist influence, emphasizing victory in the struggle for independence, and connection to Russia. We ate and drunk something and returned to Moldova the same day because you don’t need extra paperwork for one day of the visit. We found accommodation (Hotel Turist for 36 € with a reception like in a Hilton and bad mattresses) and went to sleep after a drink.
