Stockholm

Easy, late morning. I went for breakfast around 9am. There, they had a great option to choose from. After filling my belly, I returned to the room, slowly repacking, showering, and resting.

At noon, I checked out and left my bag at the hotel. It was time to meet with Simon and his family. After a small gift exchange, we visited a nearby Espresso House coffee shop for fika, discussing life in Sweden over coffee (4€) and cinnamon rolls.

Next was a walk around old town, and we finished in Sondermalm. They left for the suburbs by bus, and I continued to get together with Lasse.

We sat in Restaurang Kvarnen, a traditional place for a beer (10€), a Serbian waiter. Nice chat about work, travels, sports, … Later Lisa joined.

Now it was time to go toward the main train station. I took the metro for 3 stations (doors), 4€.

Picked up my bag at the hotel and arrived in time for the sleeper train to Luleå, 160€, 12h, 18:12–09:19, D 94. Got a compartment for myself, sleeping, eating cookies, outside industrial towns.
